Definitely need the 37” option on the Traveler at launch. The new 4 door bronco looks so much better on 37”s and with the traveler being a little bit bigger I think it will fit the vehicle much better. look much more rugged.
While it may look better, the axles, bearings, brakes and other components need to be able to handle moving that extra weight around. In other words they need to build it from the factory with those specs in mind vs. putting them on as an after-thought.
Has anyone tried changing a 37 in the field, heck even at home home? I thought my 35's were heavy but man those 37's are heavy AF.
Given that the Terra has already published them as an option - I would bet the drive train can handle it. Real question is if the clearances are different between the two.
That said, at some point we probably should stop supersizing everything. Our JLURD came with 33's. Since we already had 35's on our JLUR, we just switched them out. They ran a lot better on the diesel. That said, the Traveler will have even more torque.
