This reminds me of the early days of Toyota & Lexus hybrids that had an “Electric Mode” button that you could push, purportedly to tend the car towards using the electric motor over the ICE. In reality, once you got over about 5 MPH, or encountered more than a 0.005% upgrade, the ICE would kick in. But, they could truthfully state that “there’s Electric Mode…”.I am only going full EV...for now. I had a Wrangler 4xe. I was hoping for more electric range out of it for my daily commutes. However when I lived in CO, because of the cold weather, the car would stay stuck in FORM mode (Fuel Oil Remix Mode). So engine would keep running and not go into EV mode. The engine would never get hot enough. I know this is a little different with a small gas motor to charge vs operate the drivetrain however still hesitant due to my past experience.
800v won't help you at Superchargers.This. I have a mache GT and rarely need to hit level 3 chargers. Combine it with the fact it will have NACS and 800v no reason. Also the gas one according to elecktrek is only 150 miles ev.....No thanks.
Hoping they do the heat pump from the start too
V4 it will. Also still will max out the current supercharger speed on v3 and 2. Also charging infrastructure has grown and non super.800v won't help you at Superchargers.
