My reservation is for the Traveler and I need a hitch for a bike rack. I want the spare tire on the tailgate and that means my rack (1Up) might need a hitch extender to mate up with a standard location hitch receiver. My bikes are of the E variety and weigh a combined 100lbs so not too bad from a cantilevered load perspective.
On the Bronco and F150, the Kuat Pivot connects to the hitch, provides both the correct extention (& 2" drop) to clear the spare, and the swing-away capability for loading for either a tailgate or swinggate. Works with Kuat & other bike racks, loading platforms, fishing racks. Great for bikes, including 2 ebikes. NOT suitable for towing.

That is a great solution ... for me, thanks!

Fair, valid use case - do you drive the trucks over 8' sewer pipes, drop them on their hitch from 8' and then leave 10 feet of slack and punch it when you use them?
They often are dropped onto logs, rock ledges, and have slack in them when I pull.

Trucks are not status symbols for me, they are tools.

Good for you, my trucks are for Winter, dirt bikes, camping, trailer pulling, bit of off roading (not extreme) and for commuting / daily - seem to be able to so without thrashing them (most the time).

A tow package should be made available for serious towing. Receiver mounted to frame; pre wired for electric trailer brakes; 7 pin and 4 pin trailer light outlet;

I also use a hitch on the front of my vehicle so it would be good to have holes drilled in frame to accommodate aftermarket install. I mount a bike rack to the front of my Expedition when towing Airstream trailer.

Yep, if you only every use a truck like DIY dad and it sees the Home Depot parking lot once a month, that cast POS hitch on the cybertruck will work fine probably.

But, again, hooking a chain to a hitch and pulling something else stuck is 100% in the normal use case for any truck with a hitch.

So does pulling a stuck 8k truck out of a mud hole put more force on the hitch / frame than pulling a 33klb sled? - maybe it does, honest question. Love my CT (maybe that's why I react to the haters), guessing I'll love my scout too if they develop a good product... I'll quit now, you do you and I'll do me.

If the receiver is going to be tucked away behind a removeable plastic panel, like the R1S, then please, for God's sake, leave enough room around it for a person with normal-sized hands to insert/remove pins, install an anti-wobble hitch stabilizer, etc. :please:

Gooseneck ball? Would make this a real option for folks hauling cattle and hay. Since it's body on frame, I can see it potentially working. Ramcharger might be a better fit at that point though with 14k projected towing.

This would be perfect for me! Though I do think the rear bumper is a bit higher for the Traveler.

I have several gooseneck trailers - but honestly, 7k towing capacity would be kind of worthless with them - one weighs that unloaded. Ram will probably pull it off - but it does add battery location problems

FWIW, did manage to ding my B&W hitch pretty hard a couple weeks ago. No problems to the hitch, but did knock off one of the pin clips (and almost lost the pin before I realized it). Lost 2 clips in one week - brush at the ranch snagged another (found it when walking down a path I had traveled with the truck a few days earlier - don't drive that path often, so there is decent sized brush on it.

I think the pickup is 10k towing. Still not a lot after weight of trailer. My operation is small, so I'm typically not using the BIG GN trailers.
