  1. Time to give up the frunk (if you want the Harvester engine)...

no frunk and I won’t buy it. Simple as that. There are other deal breakers that Chevy and Ford and other EV makers have de-contented that will prevent my purchase.
  2. Preview Images: Scout Experience Center at Production Plant in Blythewood, SC

I Think SC Motors should put the delivery and ‘Experience Center in a friendlier State like CO or, hard to believe NJ. Friendlier toward hybrids, EVs and DTC deliveries.
  3. Removable Generator

? I mean, in order to generate the 1.21 GIGAWATTS we need to keep the main battery power able to continually drive the vehicle down the road, we need a removable Mr Fusion in our Delorean! I wonder what the tow rating was on that Delorean? Flying would pull less? ? L
  4. Removable Generator

That Sounds Great! AND FANTASTIC! And impossible!
  5. Heads up display

I don’t disagree with all you’ve said. Oddly, Chinese manufacturers are adding all these features at an affordable price but, granted, subsidized by the Chinese Government. IF Chinese brands are ever allowed into our markets, they will be far ahead of the technology, features and affordability...
  6. Heads up display

True but some of us are ok with that. As long as it’s an option.
  7. As an older "I dont want to be connected person"....

Agree. I have three channel dashcams on all vehicles with battery backup for parking mode for two days. One car can record at the airport for a week. I wish all cars recorded like Tesla or Rivian and always notify when parked, always connected, record all the time and stored footage in the...

    Same. Totally agree.
  9. Time to give up the frunk (if you want the Harvester engine)...

  10. California New Car Dealers Association sues Scout and VW Group over direct sales (April 22, 2025)

I’m surprised by Colorado that always feels like it’s an EV friendly State. However, the Legislature may be influenced by the Dealership owners who contribute to their cause.

dealers always harm car buyers, if they can get away with it.
  12. The Cameras Scout has shown bring up Questions

Unkown. Most car companies that have implemented that have placed it in the rear view mirror. However, Rivian has a ‘bed camera’. I’m sure others do also. Could put it in the screen but more useful underway in the rear view mirror as a selection, whether ‘rocking’ the lever on the old style...
  13. The Cameras Scout has shown bring up Questions

Hello All, Scout at CES showed an under carriage camera feed like this while underway at the 14:40 minute mark: At time 14:40 minutes in the video. While I know its a prototype, as stated in the video by Dre, it brings up several questions: 1. What is the resolution? It looks good in the...
  14. Scout on CBS Saturday morning today! [Watch the video segment]

Available on YouTube now. Great! I’m really looking forward to it! Friends, Family and neighbors that have reviewed or been introduced to Scout Motors (usually by me) tell me they wish Scout would make a mid size like the Chevy Colorado or Toyota’s prototype mid size BEV with a mid gate. I...

  17. 4-Cylinder Harvester EREV engine confirmed by CEO Scott! + 0-60mph, range, payload, towing specs discussions

and tow the amount we were initially lead to believe. Harvester or not. I couldn’t resist.
  18. Interior Color

I always want a lighter interior on all surfaces, like the Rivian R2 Demo unit. Everyone says "it shows dirt" and that's true, but the depressing dark interiors of most cars on lots or offered is terrible. Also, the 'dirt' is still there, you are sitting on it and in it, you just can't see it.
  19. Opinion: Why the Scout nails it for EV Trucks / SUVs: Towing & Long Distance Trips

I agree. But the Pebble Flow can connect and disconnect automatically once it’s within 3 feet of the hitch. You do have to unlock or lock it. Still extra steps and a hassle. I think we’ll go backwards on infrastructure for a while before we move forward.
  20. Opinion: Why the Scout nails it for EV Trucks / SUVs: Towing & Long Distance Trips

The Pebble Flow can be maneuvered under its own power to the charging stall.
