Do we know what the standard OEM tires will be on the Traveler? I know that ultimately it will depend on rim/tire packages but I live in Ohio and don’t want to be swapping out tires for the winter…assuming this won’t be an issue.

Cheers -

For what it's worth, I put the below on my R1S. I like it, much quieter then OEM and I'll probably put it on my Lighting when the time comes:

DEFENDER LTX PLATINUM

No one knows anything. Scout has not released any concrete specs on the vehicles yet. Even the towing capacity reduction was an off-hand statement on a Jay Leno YouTube video. All the marketing thus far is influencer based fluff. Scout needs to release more info if they expect people to buy in 2 years.

why release information that is guaranteed to change before production starts?

Because they seriously can't expect the same old stale images to keep everyone interested for another 2 years? Now that other well known and experienced manufacturers are entering the EREV market, Scout can't afford to just sit there. They don't have to release everything. But they know what motors they're going to be using, they probably know the battery capacity and chemistry they will be using, etc.

I'm genuinely curious to understand why you believe the marketing folks will only use "the same old" images and info "for another 2 years"?

They've been recycling the same images for roughly the last year, would not be surprised to see that carried forward for another 12 months. Then start to trickle out new images about 10 months prior to the start of production.
