Smallest size wheel that fits is 18" inch. Anyone prefer 17" ?

35 on 18 has more sidewall than the 33 on 17 that comes on a Jeep Rubicon.

According to a Scout employee, the smallest wheel that fits currently is an 18" wheel. I assume "currently" means unless/until they re-engineer for the production 2027 Scout.

How many would prefer an even smaller size than that (like a 17" wheel) for more meat? Or are most of you going 18" or bigger?

I want 17" wheels. 20" wheels are a NO GO for me. Really don't want 18" either.

It would be nice if we could put 37" tires without modifications.

Dang, I was hoping for 17’s.

While it’s not a total deal breaker for me, I’ll definitely be going with 18’s over the 20’s.

Prefer 17” but 18”s will do. Here’s 295/70r18 Cooper STT Pro aired down to 11psi. It works.

I see no bead locks. Do you have much trouble breaking the bead?
