How can you not like the Idea of this vehicle? And starting 25K and then with federal and state ev tax credit you could look at under 15K. Yes please! Standard range of 150miles and extended of 240Miles, Fantastic! Now this wouldn't be an ideal road tripper. But a daily driver/weekend warrior? yup. Ill be interested to see how the App works on your phone seeing that will be your software. Over all this is a great idea. And now that Amazon has backed it as well. Please be successful!

When my current pickup ages out in a few years, at this stage in life I can see buying one of these if it is $20K with the EV tax credit in place. I need a pickup at this point just to go to the dump every few weeks and to transport petroleum fuels for my ICE-powered equipment. All local travel.

At $27K though, a Maverick would be a better choice IMO.

no interest on my part - but I can see how some people would be... Interesting paradigm though, the vehicle is a clean slate and you have add everything you want...

Honestly, this is a design mentality that I wish Scout would lean more into with respect to tech. It arguably falls more in line with original Scout design philosophy than what the Traveler or Terra have become...

I have reservations for all 3.

Know a girl that owns a busy little Cantina.

Her daily goal is controlling overhead keeping the lights on, Margaritas flowing, HUGE rent paid and food and drink prices reasonable.

Tough juggling act.

A truck like the Slate fits her needs and especially her budget perfectly. She’s always hauling supplies and stuff.

At the low end of the price range, I can see these flying off the lots as people's "first vehicle."
It will come with a warranty, very little maintenance, safety, and the customization ability that teens want.

I like this concept too and most likely will be making a reservation for a variation on the "Weekender" package. Looks good with a lift and a bit like a 70 Series LC albeit a lot smaller. This would be a commuter rig that will get a custom wrap for my business. I'm hopeful that Slate will do special pricing mod bundles.
