This close-up of the main assembly building (above) shows continued progress made in erecting steel and additional roof decking. Heavy steel installation is complete and roofing finishing material has started installation.
When completed, the assembly building will span nearly 1.3 million square feet.
(BELOW) You get a sense of the scale of the assembly building in the photo below. Crews are laying the foundation pads for the assembly lines before overall concrete goes down.
In the shot below you can see one of the first images of the continued progress on interior paint shop equipment installation. Our teams continue to make significant progress.
The body shop (above) work continues at a brisk pace. Final heavy steel has been installed and exterior walls are going up quickly. Roofing material installation continues as well.
The body shop will cover more than 1.3 million square feet of space when complete.
In the photo below, you can see finishing of the concrete floors continues in our main body shop area. It won’t be long before we start to see utilities going in.
Lastly is the first photo showing progress on our new Scout Motors Training Center under construction. Many of the positions within the factory will go through training in this building.
