Same for me. Wheel and tire choice has such huge ramifications for EV range.
Realistically, dual lockers help you
more off road than wheels/tires, and they have no effect on range. Smaller tires and wheels are cheaper to buy, cheaper to replace, put less stress on the drivetrain, offer better dynamics and handling.
I will note that my F250 Tremor is on 18’s and it has roughly 150% of the towing/hauling capacities of a Scout….and no regen. They should be able to fit enough breaking capacity in an 18.
