I use ForScan on my laptop to change just about anything on my Ranger. Chimes, lights, wake up screen, bambi mode, adjust speedometer, purge power brakes, pull and reset codes, you name it, if OBD11 does the same for the Scout I will get it, already have the laptop, cable and OBD adapter.
I would think they would replace the plastic with something much stronger if for nothing else than battery protection, last thing you need is battery damage leading to an impromptu bonfire.

I am sure it is the same tech as in the 12v cooler we carry, a thermocouple built into an insulated box with a small fan to circulate the air. Mine keeps drinks at 36º to 38º, while drawing only 4 amps.
I have wireless CarPlay in my Ranger with an adapter, and it works great, they are adding apps every update, but I am happy with Google maps, Apple music, messages, and sirius XM and the like.
What I want to know is the EV range on the Harvester before the generator kicks in? I think I read somewhere it's something about 150-200 miles, then up to 500 with the boost.
The reservation is fully refundable or changeable up to production. By waiting to place it you get pushed way down the order list. This is the mistake I made with my Bronco order, had to wait a year longer than if I had not delayed my reservation.
