ease up folks... this is pre-production and "demo" version of their software. that isn't really an indication of the responsiveness of the production version.
we also have no idea of the hardware/architecture being used to power the demo. could be very different in production.

Camera-only based systems, like Tesla can work well but if certain conditions change, then you're increasing the chances of the system failing. Fog, rain, shadows, bright lights, etc can hinder the system working correctly because it doesn't have another system like radar or lidar, which work...
The Director of UX at Scout indicated you can enable Harvestor while in "Outdoor" (camp) mode. If that does make production, then I'm almost 100% sold on getting the Traveler with that option when its becomes available.
I think time will determine how this plays out and impacts companies like Scout, Rivian, Lucid as well as GM and Ford. Scout is still at least 2.5 years away from production so that gives them time to see the landscape.

Oh yeah, the vehicles as shown at reveal are going to be way more than the base $60k price. I'd imagine somewhere in the ~$85-90k range. If they can hit ~$75k with full specs I'll be incredibly impressed.

Looks great so far. Here's hoping they planned ahead so that when they actually release the vehicles, the h/w won't be outdated and can not only power the s/w at release but have the headroom to take on more/new features.

The Rivian R1T goes ~300 miles with AT tires and a ~135kWh battery. the Terra is a bigger vehicle but i'd imagine it will get similar efficiency (probably slightly worse) assuming their engineers are as good as Rivian's, so it should be able to get 300 miles with a 140-145kWh battery
a) there's little reason to speculate at this point, way too early.
b) don't let the "looks" fool you. most people would assume the Cybertruck has a lower coefficient of drag than the R1T but its actually the opposite.
c) the R1T/R1S can get 300 miles of range with about a 135kWh battery so...
imo, the stuff you have to interact with daily is more important than the stuff you use infrequently. that being said here's what i would like to see Scout spend priority on:
Comfortable seats - well bolstered, multi-adjustable, cooled/heated
Premium Audio - unless you have an elite sound...
