How much "new" technology can actually be incorporated into the Scout? When is the "drop dead" date so to speak that this what we have designed and have to go with. Just because some new wiz bang tech comes out 3, 6, 12, 18 months before launch there's no way they could incorporate it.

Well, fortunately there are “other” direct to consumer vehicles available. Probably the only deal breaker for me (as of now)anyway).

Same here, I won't purchase from a dealer and pay thousands more, not to mention the hassle and upsell attempts.

Well I ask the members after reading articles and n regards to VW and Scout and VW's investment in many other projects. Can you see how Scout can claim independence from VW ? I think dealers association will win law suits and with the current governments approach to EV's and dealers having personal relationships with current senators/ their sons I think Scout will have their own showrooms within the VW dealership network. It's also a way for Scout to keep cost down as to list pricing with incentives gone. The dealership will be capped at mark up margins. But it allows Scout to concentrate on manufacturing not retail expansion. But I'm planning on dealership sales

For sure, I have a reservation for a Terra Har, but waiting to see what the market does. Maybe if things take a downturn I’d make a move on a rivian.

VW is delaying their own EV models because they don't want to hurt their investments in Rivian and Scout. I bet VW is the financing company for both Scout and Rivian as to consumer financing offers make sense. But another tentacle to tie VW to Scout it's going to be interesting to when lawsuits are going to be settled as to DTC sales

VW just announced several new models that will be using Rivian Zonal Architecture and Software stacks. The ID Everyone is launching pretty much at the same time as the Scout twins.
