New Rival: 2026 Jeep Recon Revealed

On your range figures, I'm EV stupid but is that 100% to 0% charge or 80-20 (which is what I understand to be the "best" charging routine, I could be way off on this though)? I see these range numbers all the time and am never sure if it's for a 20-80-20 charge routine or are people saying I...

New Rival: 2026 Jeep Recon Revealed

That's how I bought my '15 GC, can get some great deals on lease returns. You just have to shop around and be patient to find one with a good service history. Mine had 26K and still had the plastic covering in the cargo area. I want to buy a "newer" one but as you said you cannot get a proper...

New Rival: 2026 Jeep Recon Revealed

Jeep starting price is 65K plus 2K destination charge. But the good news is that you'll be able to buy one coming off lease for 31K.

Scout gift for reservation holders - Any guesses?

And read it and updated my profile and I have no guesses on what they may be sending.

    If I was in charge

I would put in a naturally aspirated V8, but would settle for a 6, LOL. Hell, I'd even got a turbo 4.

Report: Scout EV Delayed. Only Hybrid Harvester at Launch / Start of Production

Here's to hoping they put out an ICE only version! Probably not going to happen but one can hope.

    Anyone else losing excitement/interest?

How much "new" technology can actually be incorporated into the Scout? When is the "drop dead" date so to speak that this what we have designed and have to go with. Just because some new wiz bang tech comes out 3, 6, 12, 18 months before launch there's no way they could incorporate it.

Senators propose killing $7500 EV tax credit, adding new $1,000 tax for road repairs

Haha, if a politician REMOVES a tax, LOL. That would be like removing a toll once the road, bridge, tunnel, etc. is paid for, hahahahaha.

Senators propose killing $7500 EV tax credit, adding new $1,000 tax for road repairs

I don't believe anything other than the facts of the specific situation I'm speaking to. Incentive was lowered by $3,750 and in response the company lowered the MSRP of the vehicle by $2,000. You're muddying the waters with your inflation and tariff tangents. Do you like the Husky? I have a...

Senators propose killing $7500 EV tax credit, adding new $1,000 tax for road repairs

I did not get that from a teacher, I got it from history, i.e., when it actually happened. I'll say they won't suck up the entire $7,500 but they will have to suck up some.

Senators propose killing $7500 EV tax credit, adding new $1,000 tax for road repairs

Price of EV's should drop 7.5K as the incentives are gone which artificially raised the price. Price of ICE cars just went up 10K due to the 10K tax deduction.

Will Scout drop a bomb & go ICE?

    God, I hope so.

    Scout hit with environmental fines

I love how they use the Scout name and "Pollution" in the headline. Just trying to generate clicks that an auto maker is polluting the environment. Then the OP makes it even more dramatic, "Scout hit with environmental fines". Can someone change the title of the thread?

    I canceled our two reservations

Hopefully Scout will do a better job than Ford on this. Reservation number had zero to do with when you actually got your Bronco.

Yea, us Bronco people are like "Reservation Drama, hold my beer and watch this!"

    Anyone else losing excitement/interest?

I'm hanging on in the hope they offer a turbo 4 or NA 6 cylinder option.
