Totally Agree - if it's an engineer's goal to reduce unsprung mass, Scout's essentially adding more with the EREV generator on there. Am hoping they'll get some redesign but I'm no engineer...Sprung weight. Yikes.

With these undercarriage pics (which I don't think are of the production chassis) makes me question even more how an engine/generator of any significant power capacity is going to fit between the rear axle and bumper.
