For you guys that want to tow a boat... get something else! A longer wheelbase, heavier machine, and a huge gas tank are what you want.
I'd rather focus on a smooth ride and off road capabilities for the occasional weekend at the offroad park or overlanding. One vehicle cannot do everything.
Still exited. Since it will be both DD (95%) and fun car (5%) for me, I am hoping it has comfortable seats more than anything else!
Anyone with a reservation spot in front of me, feel free to cancel!!:CWL:
Just curious. With the range extender, you are still suck with oil changes, air filters, exhaust, plugs, and coolant (probably).
Can we omit 12 V batter, belts, transmission fluid and fans? Anything else to reduce maintenance versus a regular gas engine to drive train setup?
Mercedes S550 commuter and … 2 door bronco fun car (Bronco was stolen by my daughter). I have another daughter who will certainly steal whatever other fun car I get. So I’m - looking for a reasonably comfortable commuter that I can also use for fun on the off-road. And I’m EV curious.
also...
If 4.5 is too slow.. please cancel your reservation… so the rest of us can get back to solid axles, shocks, and other off-road stuff! Just kidding.
150 battery will cover my daily commute… gas for the occasional road trip and off-road park is perfect. I just hope we don’t end up like a Chevy...
Reserved the SUV w harvester. My Bronco has been taken by my teenage daughter. The traveler looks like I can drive it to the off-road park, have fun and get back home without recharge delays…. Also dabble in EV commuting?
