Pop Down Side Steps in the rock sliders are a must!! please include these

After owning many SUVs. I would say these are a must for any owner, especially with a family. I hope you guys include these from the factory or at least as a factory option at lunch.

Side steps at fold down when you open the door doors and fold back up to disappear.

The ones I have on my bronco are called rock slide engineering.

I would say these are extremely important to have for owners. Makes it so easier getting in and out of the vehicles.

I use them almost daily on my F250 - but don't miss them when I use my wife's Wrangler. So not a necessity for me. Honestly - would prefer bullet proof sliders, less to worry about breaking.

I love these steps on my Bronco and encourage Rock Slide Engineering to design some for the Scout!

Agreed, 100%. Would prefer steel sliders that actually protect the frame. I could see shorter people wanting the steps tho.

I hope components like these, that can easily be added, are options and not included as standard equipment in order to keep the base price down as much as possible. Having mounting brackets built into the frame to support a variety of options would be good.

they are good, but only if they dont look like an afterthought, don't think that will happen with Scout....dont forget the massage seats as well...Let's Go Scout...

I'm 5'8, the powered step rails on my GX550 are great and would happily pay for them on new Traveler.

I am not short - but probably below average nowadays. Getting into a vehicle tall or low is mostly about learning and habit. It is funny how I can easily get into the drivers side of my Golf, but it is frustrating to get into the passenger side - but at least I have not slammed my head too hard on that side yet. On my second vehicle, I almost knocked myself unconscious once - I managed to drive home (2 blocks) and get inside before I passed out. Did not notice the blood till after I regained consciousness.

But anyway - my wife did manage to break the nerf bar attachment on my last truck. So bulletproof is kind of important to me. She took a corner (at low speed) too tight and turned into a culvert (dropping the front tire about 18" and slamming the nerf bar into the cement). The cast aluminum attaching arm never stood a chance.

I do appreciate the way Ford integrated the step up in my F250. It disappears when not in use - and makes my truck look taller...

you can have both together. I have them on my bronco in the rock slide engineering. Rock slider/steps. They look and work amazing and are extremely strong.
