Zonal phone call control

Saw a couple days ago a feature on a new Infiniti, the ability to switch the phone call to any seat in the vehicle because they all have their own speakers in each headrest. Thought this was really cool for some reason and thought it would be an interesting idea to consider if Scout could get around any patents or copyrights that may be set up already.

I would think the microphone whould have to have some crazy noise cancelling ability to make that work...

If I'm on the highway - you're just gonna get what ever handsfree capability they give us; but hopefully I'm on a trail and you just get my voicemail because I have no signal!

Simple is always better. I'm more interested in a $50-$60k 4wd electric truck than a $100k luxury behemoth.

I agree it’s a super cool feature that would definitely have a place in a top trim model of any vehicle. That said, I’m not a top trim level buyer. I’m not spending extra money for that feature, but if it’s packaged with something that’s a must have for me, I would welcome it.

This is just going to increase the cost of the vehicle. I like the concept. But honestly it's really just overkill.

I just use the do-not-disturb mode and add my family to the allowed list, so their calls still come through even when I'm driving. Works fine without extra setup.

I am also am looking for a simple and reliable off-road capable vehicle BUT PROFIT is the reason manufacturers sell (push) high option vehicles (i.e. Jeep Grand Wagoneer). Scout will be needing high margin vehicles out of the gate to surge its cash flow. Those of you wanting a grand touring Scout will no doubt have some options.

For you connected junkies don’t forget the satellite antenna stashed in the Traveler roof rack.
