  1. Pricing difference between EV+Gas (Harvester) vs. Full-EV model?

Campaign statements often don't turn out that way or are modified when it comes to actual policy, so I think it's still too early to assume that the $7500 EV tax credit will be scrapped or reduced.
  2. Scout Motors Production Plant Factory Update [October 2024]: Assembly, Paint Shop, Body Shop & Finish Areas Taking Form

That's undetermined yet, but sounds like UAW will be trying to unionize the Scout Motors plant workers at Blythewood, SC New Scout plant could be UAW target as union expands efforts to SC...
  3. One-Pedal Driving or Two-Pedal Driving -- your preference?

Right, but question is whether Scout Motors will be willing to give us those software settings. Tesla in its infinite wisdom (/s) decided not to give owners the ability to adjust one-pedal or brake regen settings at all, even though it easily could have via software.
  4. Rear air vents needed in Scout production models. Preferred location: floor, B-pillar, center console??

Floor air vents aren't ideal because it's easy to be blocked with bags / cargo / kids crap, and also doesn't cool/heat enough of the passenger's body directly... plus the air flow isn't likely to be adjustable with floor vents. B pillar air vents make the most sense to me cuz they avoid all...
  5. Question for EV owners: anyone own one long term? Battery degradation?

Yea great thing is that EVs have shown that battery degradation isn't really been a problem. Tesla's batteries have shown to degrade about 10% over 100k miles.
  6. Review: Design professor gives "A" grade to both Scout Traveler & Terra

He's pretty over the moon on the Scout suv and pickup design wow. As was Bembli. Would like to hear Frank Stephenson's design review too. Especially cuz he's usually hard to impress.
  7. One-Pedal Driving or Two-Pedal Driving -- your preference?

From what I've heard from friends with EVs is that it's hard to go back to 2 pedal driving once you've tried 1 pedal driving for a while and gotten used to it. But please Scout Motors whatever you do, give us ability to select the brake regen level!!! ?????? Teslas are so annoying cuz they...
  8. EREV, Hybrid (Series vs. Parallel), PHEV in the Scout

Good discussion on EREV / Series Hybrid but realize that BMW was chasing additional CARB ZEV credits in CA with the i3. If your EREV had more EV range than gas range, then the Range Extender couldn't get kick in until there was 6-7% battery charge left (in order to qualify as a "BEVx" and gain...
  9. App & Remote Functions via Phone - what do you want to see?

+1. Particularly helpful if/when using the vehicle in V2H (vehicle to home) mode.
  10. App & Remote Functions via Phone - what do you want to see?

Question for members that don't care much about the future Scout app: Are you guys/gals are a first time EV owner? I ask not out of disrespect or condescension but for most EV's on the market, the vehicle's app is a significant aspect of EV ownership and because of that it often affects...
  11. App & Remote Functions via Phone - what do you want to see?

That's a very comprehensive list of basic functions already so I'd be happy with that list too. Would also like to see a navigation function where you can plot our destination and send it to the car's nav.
  12. Onboard air compressor for airing down / up? CFM air flow?

Would be nice to have CFM air flow output equal to that of an ARB twin motor compressor: 6.16CFM But that's probably asking for a lot in terms of a factory equipped onboard air compressor, so I'd settle for anything between the out put of a ARB single motor (3.08 CFM) and 6.16 CFM.
  13. 📊 1,000+ Scout reservations on tracking list! Stats on take rates & options preferences

And holy @$!# almost 82% of reservations are for the Harvester over the full EV?! I bet Scout Motors itself didn't anticipate it being so popular. Of course the caveat is that this is without pricing being announced yet...
  14. 📊 1,000+ Scout reservations on tracking list! Stats on take rates & options preferences

I actually hope Scout doesn't publish reservation figures. I don't like the chest pounding reservation stats released by companies that haven't produced a single vehicle before. Comes off like insecure chest pounding sometimes. Let the vehicles speak for themselves... and the Scouts do that well!
  15. Onboard air compressor for airing down / up? CFM air flow?

Thanks everyone, dunno how I missed this at reveal. Found onboard air compressor photos in the the Traveler and Terra frunk in case anyone else wanted to see what it looks like.
  16. Onboard air compressor for airing down / up? CFM air flow?

Will the Scout Terra or Traveler get onboard air compressor? Would be super helpful for airing down / up. If I missed this already being confirmed as a feature, do we know what CFM the air compressor will have? Added photos of the frunk air compressor in Terra and Traveler
  17. Scout OEM home wall charger, molle panels, accessories -- photos

No guarantee Ford continues giving out free chargers and installations until 2027 though. But that might be even better reason for Scout to offer it -- to stand out above the other competitors. I'm hoping that the Scout wall charger will be able to: - automatically open charge port door on the...
  18. Scout Reservations: Who’s First (Reservation Time)? 🥇

Reserved 8pm Eastern time on reveal day :like:
  19. Spare tire carrier optional on Traveler? Alternative locations for mounting spare tire?

Having wheel carrier be optional is a good move. Why not give customers the choice, it'd only helps sell more Scouts. Unless they just like the look (that's me), most owners aren't ever going to need their spare, but requiring it has so many downsides: harder to access cargo area, harder to...
  20. Harvester EREV analysis & predictions: 3 cylinder gasoline engine, HP output, EV battery pack size, fuel tank location, approach departure angle

Interesting idea I hadn't even considered engines from other manufacturers outside VW Group. I guess anything is possible... but it'd probably take some massive efficiency or packaging advantage from another manufacturer's engine for the Harvester not to use a VW group engine.
