Can't argue with you there! And not that I'm trying to lol.
Its true, a bad dealer can really sour a whole brand experience, which is unfortunate - but a reality.
I try to avoid dealers in general. For warranty work - sure. And in most cases my experiences have been just fine.
Beyond that...
When they first re-designed the Cayenne years ago, I got a piece of guardrail from their Leipzig test track as part of their marketing promo! Still have it too! The piece is magnetized to a little plaque.
I personally don't see any benefit to having an air suspension. Therefore, I prefer a traditional shock/spring combo. Especially on a more off-road oriented vehicle.
I know Land Rover does it, and has been doing it for a long time. But a vast majority of those don't ever see anything but...
I was ready to make the switch personally. I too have a predictable daily commute and I was really coming around to the idea of an EV truck.
Last year at reservation time, I was not planning on getting myself a new car and figured I would just wait fort the Scout and the Rivian R3X to drop so I...
I've never owned full EV, so I guess you could just say I'm a little leery.
And I say that only because at this point, if we end up with a Scout, it will be my wife's primary vehicle.
I can't even get her to plug her phone in at night...so what in the hell is going to make her plug in her CAR at...
Makes sense. I thought there was an option to change it on their website.
But when I try to log in it says there is a problem retrieving account info...

Originally reserved a Terra for myself as a potential daily driver replacement in a couple of years when they came out.
But I went...
I too have a Bronco, well technically my wife does lol.
Reserved a Terra day one thinking it could be a potential replacement for my daily driver, which at the time was a 2015 VW GTI that I did not have any intention of replacing for a few more years.
Well, I ended up replacing it at the...
Actually, no. But only because that was not even on my radar.
$70k for a Hyundai though? Yikes! lol.
Definitely going to look at that little though just because....
Not canceling the Scout res but am definitely waiting to learn a little more about the Rivian R3X.
It will be a strong contender for what replaces my soon to be 10 year old VW GTI.
I've been thinking about making the switch to a truck as my daily driver for some time now, and more recently, an...
Nice little collection. I had a MK2 Jetta with a 12V VR swap dang near 20 years ago now.
You going to do 5 lug conversion as well? My donor car was a Passat which is where I got most of the parts.
My GTI that I've had for almost 10 years now but can't seem to find a suitable replacement for (the Scout MAY be it)...
My wife's kid hauler...
And the never ending project...
