    Tinting glass roof

Anyone plan to get the glass roof model and tint the roof? I know some tinters warn against tinting glass roofs on the theory that it absorbs too much heat in the sun and could cause the glass to crack / break. But has anyone here actually had this happen to them? I know we have many Rivian and...

One-Pedal Driving or Two-Pedal Driving -- your preference?

As topic says -- would you prefer one-pedal driving (1PD) or two-pedal driving (2PD) your Scout? We don't know yet if the Scout Traveler and Terra will be one-pedal driving or two, though I'm betting it will be the more traditional two-pedal setup since the CEO seems to understand that we want...

Review: Design professor gives "A" grade to both Scout Traveler & Terra

Most fun I've had listening to a professor, ever. I identified with how he praised the Scout designs as "mature" and contrasted it to all the overly aggressive & angry ("glowering") that other manufacturers are so hot on. That's a spot on analysis and why I find the Scouts so attractive.

Rear air vents needed in Scout production models. Preferred location: floor, B-pillar, center console??

Rear climate air vents would definitely be nice. Ceiling vents are unlikely though because that'd only work with a steel roof and Scout has said there'll be multiple roof types offered -- steel, glass and cabana folding soft top.

Saw this question asked and I'm curious too -- will Harvester EREV owners need to smog check their Scouts? There is emissions from the gasoline engine afterall.

Grab handle (removable) for driver on A-pillar

These are going to be large vehicles that sit high off the ground and for some shorter owners (like me), having a handle up high (above steering wheel level) could help us with ingress and egress cuz we can use the pillar handle to lift ourselves into and out of driver seat. So I like the grab...

Legroom and headroom is closer to F-150 than Rivian R1T (confirmed by Scout)

Hopefully seat width and side-to-side roominess will also match. According to the Terra dimensions specs, the Terra is the same width as F-150 Lightning.

Spare tire carrier optional on Traveler? Alternative locations for mounting spare tire?

Garage fit is a real practical concern that Scout should be focused on when it comes to deciding whether to make the spare wheel carrier optional. For example, they made the Cybertruck a bit too long and I know a couple of people that passed on their reservations because it was too big for their...
