Not having a place for the spare sucks (no place on Cyber Truck) so I speak from experience. I keep mine in the bed for winter - but summer the bed is used for loading dirt bikes and there's no room. Most I see have it on roof rack or in bed....I'll get the 35" tires so if stays as stated I'll...
Just for reference my Cyber Truck has 40amp (9.6kw) 240v outlet in the bed that could be used to backup the house with manual intervention but more power is available via the NACS Port (Bi Directional) - 11.5kw and automatic switchover as long as the truck is plugged in.
Would imagine Scout...
100% agree, I also put deposit on Ram Charger - that one could actually replace my GMC2500 with it's 14k towing / high payload....both VW and Stellantis are financially struggling but lets hope they invest wisely!
Fair, valid use case - do you drive the trucks over 8' sewer pipes, drop them on their hitch from 8' and then leave 10 feet of slack and punch it when you use them?
Agree here, but fun fact, with the CT and 2 dirt bikes in the back (tailgate down) - the cable doesn't reach unless I take up 2 spaces or get lucky and get a charger in a unique / uncommon location (it's happened twice) - Tesla knows they need longer cables, guessing either retrofits or V4's...
Reserved the Scout Truck as it looks cool, will be an additional vehicle. Dont see why it wouldnt have a capable hitch vs. SUV hitch based upon stated tow ratings - at least for the truck version.
Re Cyber Truck "Fake hitch" - there's one video of an idiot doing something none of us would do...
I have the Tesla Power Share (powers my house in event of outage) and universal wall connector - all complements of Tesla, including $4k install. I plan on getting another universal wall connector and add it to my 2nd 60amp circuit (currently a 14-50). Since the Scout will V2L, wondering if...
Cyber Truck and just starting first winter in Colorado - based upon previous Tesla I'd say 30% is a good rule for range hit. I always precondition so it's ready to go when I leave in the morning so that reduces the impact significantly.
I have a Cyber Beast with the OEM AT Tires - pretty solid all around tire (Weight Rating, 130mph rated, Handles shockingly good for an AT, efficient, quiet). Bought the winter tire kit ($3k) with Goodyear DuraTrac RT's for winter and 4x4 as needed. Sux to have 2 sets vs all around perfect tire...
well Gas or Diesel hurts the EV brand so might as well select the best fit, what ever that may be. I have a Cyber Beast, I'm supporting the EV Brand...now I want more range flexibility!
I vote diesel, an infrequently used range extender with sitting ethanol gas in it isn't key to reliability...can be overcome but usage frequency / ethanol wont help - diesel less of an issue unless then need to add cat pee system for emissions.
Or if the battery is small and need to rely on...
