    Is this really a ”split tailgate”? The upper part is essentially the entire tailgate, and the bottom is just a fold out seat?

    Do batteries degrade with time, or only with use? Would a low mileage vehicle not need replacement batteries? Isn’t replacing batteries cost prohibitive?

    So you think the final design will be different than current version? Looks like tire carrier attaches to back of vehicle. I would think a simple plastic piece could replace it on the back door.

    That seems kinda misleading. Almost no car companies are moving away. Actually Hyundai/Kia/Genesis has joined up. It’s only EV companies that aren’t doing it and it’s a bad decision in my opinion.
