Scout plans on service centers and at home/remote service. They have also said that 80% of the car will be right to repair and that the owner will be able to do it them selves.
The reason for the Harvester is to reach a larger market which seems that you are struggling to understand. Not everyone is ready to go full EV, which is why Scout is giving the option to have a gas generator in the back.
You guys have the freedom to put whatever tire you want on it you range freaks. Personally Im gonna leave the All terrain tires on it. Since my scout will be all over fishing. And since off road tire get more mileage. Because of the deeper treads.
As on what Jamie has said the Price is pretty much set at starting at 50k. And Scouts is 80% made with USA materials which would probably allow them to take advantage of the Tax Credit.

From what i’ve heard from prople who met Scott at the Event. He said that the battery size would be smaller but it would use the QuantumScape Solid State Batteries.
Considering that battery prices pre kWh has dropped by 51% the prices might stay the same or go lower.
I also saw that most of these start up EV companies are failing because they are all doing contracted manufacturing. Which Scout isn’t doing since they are making their own Factory so they are...
