  1. One-Pedal Driving or Two-Pedal Driving -- your preference?

No idea. Never driven an electric vehicle.
  2. What differentiates Terra Pickup Truck vs. other EV competitors for you?

The 5.5 bed is required to fit a full crew cab, and keep the vehicle under 20', which is the magic number for parking spaces, garages, ferry and life.
  3. What differentiates Terra Pickup Truck vs. other EV competitors for you?

Remember the rear locker is standard, which is a great upgrade. However, the front locker will be an add-on, probably part of an off-road package, from what has been published.
  4. Tow Hitch on Scout Traveler & Terra production models confirmed. Location you prefer?

On the Bronco and F150, the Kuat Pivot connects to the hitch, provides both the correct extention (& 2" drop) to clear the spare, and the swing-away capability for loading for either a tailgate or swinggate. Works with Kuat & other bike racks, loading platforms, fishing racks. Great for bikes...
  5. Best place for spare tire on Terra with Harvester option

Scout says thar the Harvester takes away battery space, reducing the size of the battery, so it doesn't seem this is a problem. However, I wish it was a problem, if the Terra had a full size battery AND a Harvester, it would be a 750 mile beast! Scout also said that up to a 33" tire would...
  6. Onboard air compressor for airing down / up? CFM air flow?

Could be nice, but Bronco didn't have that option, and it didn't take long for several companies to come up with a way to mount an ARB single or twin (I installed the single for my 33" tires). 1. For those wanting to power air tools, it's not just the size of the compressor . . . An air tank...
  7. Diesel engine for range extender (Harvester EREV)

Unfortunately, we don't know the specs yet, but the big problem with the range extender is that it reduces battery capacity by about half (% TBD). Because the space to install the range engine (and tank?) is coming from the space allocated for the battery. The net result is that the range...
  8. Designer’s mind blown by Scout Traveler & Terra designs & styling -- his analysis

Nice analysis. I'm looking forward to seeing one, sitting in one, in a couple of years. Will have trouble choosing between the pickup and the Traveler!
  9. Pricing difference between EV+Gas (Harvester) vs. Full-EV model?

Agreed. Will be interesting to find out the details as they bring the vehicle to market. I would think there would be room on the pickup for both full size battery and the extender, making for a better tow vehicle (700 mi range?). It seems that towing reduces battery capacity by 50%, or, towing...
  10. Pricing difference between EV+Gas (Harvester) vs. Full-EV model?

Except, there's a caveat. The gas generator takes up space for battery, reducing battery capacity by (50%, 40%, 60%??) Defeating the purpose of having an EV in the first place, and meaning the gas generator will come on frequently (100-150 mi) to do a simple 100 mile drive. And, plugging the...
  11. Dimensions Size [Updated]: Scout TRAVELER SUV vs. R1S, Hummer, Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, 4Runner, Kia EV9, Defender

Thanks! It's wierd with the BRaptor, because that has the exact same body, but gets its larger huge width from a wider wheel track and much wider fenders.
  12. Factory delivery will be available ... are you taking trip to Scout plant in SC for it?

Will most definitely go to the factory for vehicle pickup in SC. It's just over 2 hours from my home in Charleston, SC.
  13. Dimensions Size [Updated]: Scout TRAVELER SUV vs. R1S, Hummer, Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, 4Runner, Kia EV9, Defender

Bronco measurements need editing, those are with-mirror dimensions, not comparable
  14. Pricing difference between EV+Gas (Harvester) vs. Full-EV model?

Not known. You can hopefully change the option when ordering . . . Or reserve one of each.
  15. 1st look at Infotainment Software UI -- Modes (Pet Mode, Camp Mode, Night Mode), Rear View Camera, 360 Degree Cameras, Range Extender On/Off

It's all a compromise and set of trade offs. Bronco got rid of the separate tire carrier, making the opening action one-step, but the solution of attaching the tire to the tailgate means it must be a side-opening tailgate, which eliminates the sit-in tailgate . . . A full-size spare is the...
  16. Steel metal roof & roof rails - confirmed for production Scout EV

One possibility for roof rack is that the rack mounts along the frame edges. In that case, a glass roof or a retracting fabric roof wouldn't rule out the use of a roof rack. TBD. Photo.
  17. Roof Racks? Weight limit with glass top?

I guess you'll find out, I would think that weight goes along the edges, where the rack attaches, not the center of the roof, so I don't know why the sunroof matters. But TBD.
  18. Dimensions Size [Updated]: Scout TRAVELER SUV vs. R1S, Hummer, Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, 4Runner, Kia EV9, Defender

Thank you, I just posted that, actually just measured my Bronco in the driveway to be sure! You are correct.
