Adopting a traditional manufacturer's software makes no sense since it's not made for ground-up EV platforms. So that leaves only a few pure EV company's software for buying / licensing as an off-the-shelf solution -- Rivian, Tesla, Lucid.
Depends on when deliveries start in 2027. US manufacturers usually switch their model years to the next calendar year sometime in the summer or shortly after. So if Scout production starts in the latter parts of 2027, then the first Scouts delivered will likely be called a 2028 model year.

Totally different ordering system model for the Scout compared to Ford. Ford tried to digitize their ordering system by bringing as much of the process online as possible, but at end of the day they're still selling vehicles (EV or not) via Ford dealers. And you know how well that goes...
