If it is they wont sell many. Very small market for any kind of EV with less than 200 miles. That ship has sailed.I'm really hoping the battery size/range isn't that drastic of a reduction on the Harvester models.
Well Scout has already confirmed at the reveal event to people who went that the Harvester battery will inly get 150 EV. And the other 350 from the Harvester. If it is they wont sell many. Very small market for any kind of EV with less than 200 miles. That ship has sailed.
Not exactly accurate. They said the harvester will kick in at 150 range, not run out.Well Scout has already confirmed at the reveal event to people who went that the Harvester battery will inly get 150 EV. And the other 350 from the Harvester.
You’re not exactly accurate. I have DMs from Jamie from Scout saying that it will only have 150miles from battery. Not exactly accurate. They said the harvester will kick in at 150 range, not run out.
Well then that is the first strike against it getting to market in any meaningful way. Shame. You’re not exactly accurate. I have DMs from Jamie from Scout saying that it will only have 150miles from battery.
You’re not the one who did market research they did. Obviously they have enough data and evidence that it will sell. And most reservation holders are opting for the Harvester so sadly you’re Wrong.Well then that is the first strike against it getting to market in any meaningful way. Shame.
Jeez I bet you're fun at parties. You’re not the one who did market research they did. Obviously they have enough data and evidence that it will sell. And most reservation holders are opting for the Harvester so sadly you’re Wrong.
Thats what they researched was future. Thats normally how market research works.Jeez I bet you're fun at parties.
Market research does not always provide accurate criteria (VW buzz) and initial pre sales is no indicator of long term sales figures (cybertruck). They need to win in 2027 with a vision that leads the market and not settling to satisfying todays early adopters.
As an MD of one the largest marketing consultants in the world who advises groups far larger than Scout or VW, I will politely agree to disagree.Thats what they researched was future. Thats normally how market research works.
Cybertruck didn’t sell well because of its stupidly high price.
And the ID buzz was just a failure all around, no DTC, really high dealership markups, its crappy range(which both Scouts powertrain options beat out), and its limited production.
I agree to disagree on what you said, about Scout and VW.As an MD of one the largest marketing consultants in the world who advises groups far larger than Scout or VW, I will politely agree to disagree.
Appreciate the OP though, lets hope for something good!
Wow. Didn’t realize trying to have a discussion about battery pack size could lead to an adult trying to belittle someone.Bla bla bla bla bla, bla bla bla bla!?????
Your talking to a mechanic here who's worked on EVs, who goes to meetings for Q&As for manufactures. So what i stated above is all i hear coming from you. Done End Of Story.
Lets move on.Wow. Didn’t realize trying to have a discussion about battery pack size could lead to an adult trying to belittle someone.
Have fun, I’ll move on.
I would never speak down on anyone due to something as benign as a their career choice. What anyone does for a job means dick to their character. I’ve worked blue collar, service industry, and medical jobs. But that’s besides the point, I’m unfollowing this thread, we will see what the battery capacity is when it’s announced.Lets move on.
Also there was no belittling going on. Just disagreeing with each other in discussion. Which people obviously don’t like when a mechanic tries to make points. So if anything everyone is belittling the mechanic here for being a blue collar job and not a white collar.
