This feature is a game changes for larger vehicles... helping with parallel parking, u-turns, tight parking garages, etc. I'm constantly experiencing issues with too wide of a turning radius on my F-150 and would love to see a better option.

I want the cheapest, simplest, easiest to market, lowest cost to build, operate, and maintain truck I can get.

I want 300 milesrange, 2k payload, 10k towing with rubber floors and the most basic interior ever.
If you watched the first episode of Forging the Future from Scout. Thats exactly what the design teams motive was when designing.

You know simple with a nice jacket and comfortable shoes at a fair price that's my hope and nice nav and sound system.. we are a forum of engineers without degrees. So we're the Wright Brothers Scout is cool already they are reaching out to their consumers and showing transparency builds excitement and trust and that's refreshing to me. And I look forward to be a customer / partner.

I should clarify, this was meant to be an option, not standard… not all of these will be on the trail and will spend much of their life in urban environments where features like that can be a real convenience.

I’m surprised to see such negative responses to this type of feature. My 21 Bronco has great turning radius and honestly It’s a feature I’d require for any vehicle I’d consider purchasing. Who wants to do 3 point turns with a U-turn? Just saying.

I'd be for it... Don't care how much it costs. It's incredible in the Hummer EV.

I think crab crawl or 4 wheel steering is a cool option but I wonder if it adds weight as well as battery drag. Everyone is grasping for mileage to claim range so engineers are forced to to streamline design to accommodate desired range I'm assuming. Right now we're all building our Racer can't wait to remove the blocks and drive it down the hill.

Forums can represent a whole bunch of use cases. While some owners here will go off-road, many will never venture farther than the local Costco parking lot. Its n those cases, and other local maneuvering where 4WS shines. I'd love it as an option but I don't think it's likely.
