wondering with the harvester, can you use it s a generator for your house if you lose power or for a camper, campsite etc

the electrical plugs near the charging port make it awesome for tailgating.

Most likely only a few things. A whole house generator is $7-15,000. It comes down to the kilowatts you need. Plus, it would be a drag that you are away from home when the power is out and your fridges and family have no juice.

For a camper or campsite yes, they've already said there is a Harvester camping mode.

For a whole house generator - probably. They said it would support bi-directional charging in one of the press discussions I saw. That doesn't indicate if it will support grid independent (electrical outage with a transfer switch) or grid following (must have grid electricity coming in) or both.

Yes, the charging port will be bi-directional per Scout; however, it would all depend on how your house is wired.
