I got the email over the weekend. It directs me to the scout website where my reservation is and then requests my mailing address. No matter what I do I can't get it to save my address.
Is anyone else having problems inputting their address?
I think EV is here to stay. The rate of people making the switch is going to bounce around but eventually it is going to be a huge part of the market. Ice will be around for a long time, but electric is the future.
Clarification... The EV only version will get 350 miles. The EREV (Harvester) version with the gas generator is said to go 150 miles on only the battery, then the gas generator provides an additional 350 miles of range for a total of 500 miles on the EREV version
What new info was there? As far as I can tell all of that info was already known. I am still in for the harvester. The 150 miles of Eclectic range should be enough for most of my driving, but having the back up plan makes so much sense..... Added Edit... I don't plan on Towing anything.
Would love to see this designed so the driver can put an arm around the middle seat passenger. With today's highback seats that seems like a challenge.
Resident of hurricane coast in FL here. I sure hope I can use the harvester engine during days/week long power outages to keep my home going. I would not want it to be automatic.
Hopefully they will handle this better than the Ford Lightning. When they finally called my reservation number you could not order the pro, or the XLT. It started at the platinum edition which was over $75k. A long long ways from the $29,900 they were promoting initially.
I wish, but not a chance. I reserved a ford lightning supposed to start at $29,900. By the time they got to my reservation number they were selling either of the lower trims and it was over $60,000!! I did not buy it.
It will be a different market by the time these go into production and...
