Up to 250 miles? Keep in mind it will never be more than that and degrades over time so, for me, 300 miles is a minimum and should be more this far into EV development.
Sorry I missed your question vbrad - as a Model Y Performance owner I am now accustomed to gas station visits only for lottery tickets, realize that 150 mile range (EV range of the Harvester) is really 110 miles or a 50-mile trip and back, and used to quick acceleration (Harvester version has...
Sounds like a lesser option to the PHEV XC60s I’ve had, but maybe manufacturers could increase battery sizes in these configurations to be the primary power source rather than a boost to an ICE. Our XC60 was something like 315hp ICE w/ 140hp battery? Total was 455 ponies and 0-60 in 4.5. While...
I didn’t intend this thread to be a line in the sand or a poll between Rivian and Scout. I hate my Tesla for the reasons that there are only 4 variations, 5 colors each, and two interior choices. Yet there’s millions sold for the reasons I love it - technology, performance, and value. You don’t...
A while back I changed my Traveler Harvester reservation to Traveler EV-only. I reached out to Scout prior to making the change to confirm doing so would not lose my place in line, which was confirmed. So I don’t see an issue with your change, other than working through the site issue to make it.
I have a Traveler reservation, not a R2 reservation. But I’m also a consumer and owe myself to make the best choice with my money. Perhaps you’re not seeing Rivian’s manufacturing developments of their R2. You’d also be naive to assume the R2 won’t benefit from their production-tested sibling...
With Rivian already making waves with both the R1 and the upcoming R2, the Traveler is walking up to the plate in a tough batting order. Rivian has shown they can deliver on range and performance across two models, one targeting premium buyers (R1 3-row) and one coming in at a more accessible...
Whoa, that’s amazing and a no-brainer. I’m not going to lie, I’m eyeing the Rivian R2 development. I don’t tow and currently have a Model Y Performance. I’m accustomed to about 300 miles range and 0-60 in mid 3-second. That’s my daily life and I know it doesn’t align with why you get or want in...
I really hope the production model is as close to this as possible, because we’re going to see these prototypes for a while and it’ll be hard to unsee and risk greater disappointment if not. No pressure Scout…lol
That is so awesome, and they’ll have stations at ALL of their stores before the first EV Scout is delivered! I kid, and good to see a serious surge at building the needed charging infrastructure!
…I just wanted to let you all know that I’m taking my ball and going home….
Sorry, but I appreciate and understand we all have thoughts and feelings and make decisions based on wants and needs within our microcosmic reality. It’s the presumption that their reasoning aligns with mine and what, I...
About the EV only Scout models - I wonder if the 350 mile range is with the 35" tires or, if not, what tire size. Compared to Rivian, if it’s with 33 or 35” that is quite good.
I know this is not the best thread for this, but I feel like we’re in limbo for the next 18 months or so. I’m excited, but what content other than speculation will keep us hooked or tuned in on this forum?
I can’t find how to edit that part. I can edit my avatar, and can see “Traveler Harvester” below it however nothing gets me to editing that. Have you done it?
