I could not disagree more with these. Parking break should be some sort of pedal. I would never, and I mean never, want a park break controlled by some computer, this will only lead to issues. Same with lock and unlocking doors. Sure, the tech exists, and it's possible to do, but at what cost...
There actually is not a federal mandate for automobiles in the USA to have automatic headlights, otherwise they would be impossible since each state has it's own regulations regarding when the headlights must be on by law.
As for the AM radio, yes, the electric motors do create frequency noise...
AM Radio - Can't believe that I need to actually say this, but it's currently under attack.
Manual headlights - It's fine to have an auto option, but allow us to turn them completely off for certain situations such as driving through a Christmas light display while being courteous to others...
Because one of the high selling points for these vehicles is that they don't lean too heavily into the tech, or oddities that many EV's currently lean into.
I would be replacing my 2015 Dodge Dart. If I get a Traveler in 2027 or 2028ish, I will have owned the Dart for 12 years. Longest I've owned a daily driver.
1) I'd like a rear subwoofer.
2) No subscriptions, or at the very least, subscriptions are only for optional nonsense: ie: Satellite Radio
3) All speakers to be of normal size that are sold commonly by aftermarket so we can change and upgrade as desired.
